They are determined to make a statement of some sort in order to be remembered after they have graduated. Little do they know just what a statement they will make. Dave has decided to dig a swimming pool in his backyard so that it will be ready in time for graduation day. While Dave and Stoney are digging they discover a prehistoric man frozen in ice. The pair manage to hide the man, still frozen, in the tool shed. The next day, while the boys are at school, the ice melts and the caveman comes to life. The two boys teach the big guy, Link, as they have named him, to speak and enroll him in their high school as a foreign exchange student. We follow the trio through their hilarious escapades as Link tries to adapt to the 20th Century.
